Justin Aylsworth

Justin Aylsworth | Non-Equity Partner

Justin Aylsworth is an experienced litigator whose practice focuses primarily on workers’ compensation defense and civil litigation. With nearly 30 years of legal experience, Justin has represented clients throughout Idaho in all stages of litigation, including discovery, mediation, administrative hearings, trial court proceedings, and appeals.

Justin has extensive experience handling workers’ compensation matters before the Idaho Industrial Commission and Idaho appellate courts. He works closely with employers, insurance carriers and adjusters, medical professionals, vocational consultants, and other experts to evaluate claims, develop effective litigation strategies, and guide cases toward resolution. His experience includes depositions, expert and lay witness preparation, settlement negotiations, mediation, administrative hearings, appellate briefing, and oral argument.

Justin’s legal career includes both private practice and public service. Before returning to Anderson, Julian & Hull, he practiced with Goicoechea Law, where he represented injured workers in workers’ compensation matters throughout Idaho. This experience provides Justin with valuable insight into the evaluation and litigation of claims from both sides of a case. Earlier in his career, Justin practiced with AJH as a Junior Partner, focusing on workers’ compensation and civil and administrative litigation. He has also served as a Deputy Attorney General for the State of Idaho and worked with the U.S. District Court for the District of Idaho and the Washington State Attorney General’s Office.

Justin earned his J.D. from Gonzaga University School of Law, where he received an American Jurisprudence Award in Legal Research and Writing. He received his B.S. in Political Science, with an emphasis in Public Law and Administration, from Boise State University.
