Cody L. Morgan | Associate

Cody Morgan has a civil litigation practice, including construction, professional malpractice defense, civil rights defense and transportation.  Cody served as second chair in a jury trial that resulted in a win for the firm’s client.  He regularly performs motion work and handles depositions.

 

Cody graduated from Gonzaga University School of Law magna cum laude in 2017. Cody earned four CALI Excellence for the Future awards for receiving the highest grade in his class.  He was a member of the National Moot Court Team at Gonzaga for two years, and was named Tutor of the Year in two different years for tutoring first-year law students in Torts and Constitutional Law. Cody served as an articles editor for the Gonzaga Journal of International Law.  He also was the President of the Moot Court Honors Council, and was part of the winning team in Gonzaga’s first-year oral advocacy competition. During law school, Cody also served an internship with the United States Attorney’s Office for the District of Idaho, and an externship for the Honorable Warren E. Jones, Justice of the Idaho Supreme Court.

 

Cody was born in Canyon County.  Prior to law school, Cody worked in construction. Cody attended Northwest Nazarene University in Nampa, Idaho, where he received a Bachelor of Arts in History, graduating summa cum laude, in 2014.   He was a member of the Speech and Debate Team, and he was President of the Speech and Debate Team his senior year at NNU.

 

Cody is a member of the Idaho State Bar as well as the United States District Court for the District of Idaho.  He is an associate attorney for Anderson, Julian & Hull, LLP.
