Matthew R. Comstock

Matt has been an associate attorney with Anderson Julian & Hull since July 2020.  He currently practices insurance defense law, handling property damage and personal injury litigation, including automobile liability, slip and falls, dog bites, product liability, and professional liability cases.  Prior to working at Anderson Julian & Hull, Matt worked for several years as a Plaintiff attorney handling personal injury cases including medical malpractice, and dabbled in family law for a short period.

After graduating from Centennial High School in Boise, Idaho, Matt obtained a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Political Science with an emphasis on Public Law in 2006 from Boise State University.  As a capstone to that degree he interned for one of Idaho’s Senators during the summer of 2006 in Washington, DC.  Matt remained in the DC and Virginia area for many years working as a government contractor conducting background investigations for the Office of Personnel Management and analyzing requests submitted to the National Namecheck and Freedom of Information / Privacy Act Programs with the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

Missing Idaho and the Northwest, Matt returned to Idaho to attend law school and obtained his Juris Doctorate from the University of Idaho, and was admitted to the Idaho State Bar in 2017.
