Jaime L. Matier

Jaime L. Matier | Associate

Jaime has a litigation practice in southwestern Idaho. Her practice areas include insurance, insurance defense, personal injury, transportation liability, construction defect, and premises liability. Jaime regularly handles motions in cases throughout the State of Idaho, and also takes and defends depositions on behalf of the firm’s clients.


Jaime graduated from the University of Idaho College of Law in 2016.

Before joining Perkins, Mitchell, Pope & McAllister LLP as an associate, Jaime served as a law clerk for the Hon. Daniel Eismann of the Idaho Supreme Court, and the Hon. Nancy A. Baskin of the Idaho Fourth Judicial District in Ada and Elmore Counties. In addition, Jaime completed externships under the supervision of the Hon. Roger S. Burdick of the Idaho Supreme Court and several magistrate and district court judges within the Idaho Fourth Judicial District.


During law school, Jaime was an active member of the Idaho Law Review, and served on the executive board as the Chief Boise Editor during her third year. She also worked as a Legal Research and Writing teaching assistant and served as a Vice President of the Board of Student Advocates. In addition, Jaime earned two CALI Awards for Academic Excellence, was a semifinalist for the Best Oralist award in the 2014 McNichols Appellate Advocacy Competition, and received the 2014 Idaho Trial Lawyers Association Excellence in Legal Research and Writing award.


Jaime grew up in Boise, Idaho and received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Law and Political Philosophy, with minors in Philosophy and History, from Boise State University in 2012.


Jaime is a member of the Idaho State Bar and is also admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the District of Idaho.
